Published to accompany the exhibition Sumitsubo in One Hundred Forms, this catalogue introduces the changing forms and diverse designs of the Japanese ink line reel (sumitsubo). It also presents ink line reels from Korea, China, and Southeast Asia, as well as Western chalk line reels.
